Welcome to Central Pointé Church of Christ

"Where Preaching, Power, Prayer & Praise is the Pointé"

Jarvis Davis

Minister Jarvis Davis is a native of Macon, Georgia. He was born May 16, 1986, to John Jr. and Vernice Davis. His parents, being deeply rooted in the church, raised Jarvis to honor God. He was very active in the youth ministry of his home church, Central Church of Christ (now Charis Community Church) in Macon, under the leadership of Pastor Rolston E. Mondaizie. After being discipled there by faithful men, Jarvis, feeling the weight of his own sin and need for a savior, accepted Jesus Christ at age nine. He was baptized on January 31, 1997.

It was evident very early that Jarvis possessed a singing gift, and at age twelve, he became a worship leader. He would go on to lead spirit-filled praise and worship until March 2011, when he yielded to God’s call to preaching ministry at age twenty-four. His official ordination came in August of the same year while on staff at James Temple Miracle Center, Fort Valley, GA under the leadership of Bishop Jamie J. Johnson. With his goal of sermonic simplicity set firmly in mind, Minister Davis has dedicated himself to composing and delivering powerful, thought-provoking, Gospel centric messages that transcend denomination and demographic.

For the past six years, Minister Davis has resided in the Dallas, TX area and served as Associate Minister of Central Pointé Church of Christ under the leadership of Pastor Rodney D. Dulin.

In hopes of increasing his preaching prowess, Minister Davis is currently studying to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Criswell College, Dallas, TX.

Jarvis is the proud husband to his lovely wife, April, and they have one beautiful daughter, Cayleigh Humphrey.
