We will engage in our Corporate Church-wide Fast during the months of January & February. Each week will be devoted to specific prayers:

Carter Blood Drive Gazette Announcement

Central Pointe is blessed to have talented groups and individuals who lend their time and talents to keeping everything working here at Central Pointe. When we get a request to grant a birthday wish that could potentially save lives, who are we to say no. Join us as we celebrate Bro. Horace Forte’s birthday, Sunday, January 20th, by making a blood donation. The Carter Blood Care Donation Bus will be at the Dallas Campus, Sunday, January 20th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Your blood donation is an irreplaceable gift that saves lives. Uplift Fitness Life Group

Greetings Central Pointe. This is Thomas Wilson, co-director of the Uplift Fitness Life Group. 1 Cor. 16:19 reminds us that our bodies are temples for the Holy Spirit. As Christians and good stewards, it is our duty to keep God’s temple in good physical condition. We are inviting all of the men and women of the Pointe to join us at the Dallas Campus every Monday and Thursday night at 7:00 p.m., for a fun, motivational, and effective fitness journey. Singles Life Group

Singles’ Life Group… it’s not what you think

Join us as we navigate through life as single Christians while having fun in the name of Jesus. Come share your thoughts about life, love and today’s issues, at the Singles Round Table, held every 3rd Friday at 7:00 p.m., at the Dallas campus. Input is needed from both the male and female perspectives to make this ministry successful and beneficial to all. Let’s start 2019 off with a bang! Singles Roundtable is January 18th, and the topic is: GOALS.. New Year, New You


S.M.A.S.H.

Come join (S.M.A.S.H.) Students Ministering And Serving Him in the first Friday night devotion of 2019 on Friday, January 18th, @ 7pm. We have devotionals and activities for Kindergarten through 12th grade students. Please plan to join us in discussing the process of Becoming.


Bridge Life Group

The Bridge Life Group needs all young adults ages 18-35 to meet us at the Dallas Campus, Saturday, February 2nd, from Noon - 1:30pm for our first Kickback: Hot Topics Bible Study & Discussion. There will be food, games, & we’ll even have some games showing on the big screen as well. Most importantly, this is your chance to discuss & ask important questions about your faith in a safe, no pressure or judgment space. An email & text message will be sent out this week containing a link to submit questions that will be addressed during our Q&A period. Praise Chorale (Adult Choir)

The Central Pointe Praise Chorale (adult choir) will resume rehearsals, Tuesday, February 5th, at 7 p.m. @ the Dallas campus. If you are interested in singing with us or have any questions, please see Harold Robinson, otherwise, we’ll see you in February 5!

Youth Weekend Xtravaganza

• Play - Jubilee Theater

Teens, age 14 and older, are invited to attend the play, OBAMA-OLOGY, on Friday evening, February 8th, at the Jubilee Theater in Ft. Worth followed by dinner and discussion. The cost is $15.00; $7.00 is due by Sunday, Jan. 20th and the balance is due, Sunday, Jan. 27th. Please note we need to hear from you by Sunday, Jan. 20th to reserve your seat - no exceptions. Due to the subject matter, parent approval is needed. Stop by the Welcome Center for additional information on the play and to pick up a consent form for attendance. Youth Ages 5-12 are invited to come out and enjoy an afternoon of Food, Valentine Bag and Cookie Décor, The classic movie “A Charlie Brown Valentine” and much more…

Children are asked to bring one box of Valentine’s cards.

• Youth Weekend Xtravaganza

Youth, it’s time to start planning for our Annual Youth Weekend Xtravaganza on March 8-10, 2019 at the Dallas campus.

Registration is open for our annual Youth Weekend Xtravaganza scheduled for, March 8th – 10th. The registration costs are as follows:

$12.00 - activities at our facility (includes backpack, t-shirt, etc)

$58.00 - all activities, including Six Flags Amusement Park

$35.00 - all activities with a Six Flags Season Pass

On time registration ends on Sunday, Feb. 3rd. Late registration is an additional $5.00 per person.

Breaking Free Life Group

You are invited to join the Breaking Free ladies as we begin a 90-day book study challenge. We will be studying the book“ Becoming the Woman God Wants Me to Be” by Donna Partow. It is a 90 day guide to living the Proverbs 31 life. The study will begin December 2 and culminate in 90 days. Books are on sale at Amazon for a $10 97. We will be ordering in bulk. Life After Loss Life Group

If you or someone you know is in need of support after the unfortunate loss of a loved one, the Life After Loss Life Group is just for you. Learn what to expect, how to live with the memories and pain, and how to work toward recovery. Beginning Wednesday, October 3rd, this group will meet at 6:00 PM at the Dallas Campus. Young Men Training to Serve During Communion

To all young men, if you would like to serve on the communion and offering table, please sign up at Welcome Center so that you can go through the training.


Community Service Hours

Central Pointe is a designated Community Service Site. Whether you are in need of Community Service hours for school or you need to obtain court mandated hours, you will be able to receive credit at the Central Pointe building. It is now available only on weekends because of our Child Care. Simply contact the office, 972-296-5502, to schedule your time.
