Annual Women’s Conference

Excitement….Excitement!

Make plans to attend, (in-person), our 21st Annual Women’s Conference. This year, we will have a one-day event, Saturday, August 13th. The theme: “Putting the Pieces of the Puzzle Back Together”. Our theme will be discussed by six exciting and capable women.

Ministry/Life Group Leader’s Meeting

All Ministry/Life Group Leaders and teachers are asked to be in attendance, Saturday, August 27th, at 8:00 a.m. There will be a light breakfast and important information shared as we prepare to relaunch classes and ministries since the pandemic.


Ministry Fair

We will have a Ministry and Life Group Fair, as well as information on our classes,Sunday, August 28th, immediately following worship service. There will be tables set up in the auditorium where information will be available to share. You will have an opportunity to sign up to participate in the ministry of your choice. Please be sure to avail yourself to the information shared so that you can get active and involved.


2022 Walk/Run for Breast Cancer









The 2022 Walk Run sponsored by the Central Pointé Church will be held, September 3rd, here at Central Pointé.

The theme for this year’s event is “I fight cancer - What is your superpower?”

We have themed this event for teams to participate and each team will dress according to the Superhero to be represented, i.e Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, etc. The teams will begin at 5 persons and we want to see if we can get a maximum of 10 persons per team. You will be able to solicit funds from your employers, corporate sponsors, and individual supporters. Prizes will be awarded to the team with the best theme dressed. Also awards for those who raise the most monies for their team. All teams will have to register and must have their monies paid by August 14, 2022.

Youth teams are welcome and Individual participation is encouraged.

The cost per individual person is $25.00.

For a team of five no more than ten people the cost is $20.00 per person.

For youth fifteen and under the cost is $15.00


Red Bird Skateland

Come out and let’s have some family fun at Red Bird Skateland on Sunday, September 4th, immediately following morning worship, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. We want to raise money for the GenNext Youth trip to Washington DC. Pre-Sale tickets can be purchased starting next Sunday in the bookstore. The cost is $3.00 for children and $5.00 for adults…


Music Ministry Bake Sale

The Music Ministry will host a Bake Sale Fundraiser, immediately following morning worship, in the Celebration Hall on the following Sundays:

- August 14th

- September 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th

Assorted pastries will be available in to-go containers. Some items will be available for $1.00-$3.00

Koolaid Pickles will also be sold on some dates.

First come, first served…get em while they last…


Central Pointe’s Gala Celebration

Save the date and get your formal attire ready! On Friday, September 30th, we will kick off our church anniversary with a Formal Gala Celebration. There will be dinner served, and live entertainment so you don’t want to miss this!

Tickets to the event will be $40 each and there will be a limited number of tickets available on a first come first sold basis. More details to follow regarding the registration of this event.


Awana Clubs Are Back

Awana Clubs are back! Classes are available for youth in Kindergarten to 12th grade, beginning on Wed., Sept. 7th. Registration is $10.00, which covers book and materials. Please stop by the bookstore to register or text AWANA to 972-426-7756. Any questions, please see Charlotte Lee or Jasmyne Simmons.


Washington, D. C. in 2023

Generation Next is visiting our Nation’s Capitol on June 13-17, 2023. The cost, including air fare, hotel (based on 4 in a room), and transportation is $700.00. The deposit and first payment of $75.00 is due, no later than, Sunday, Sept. 4th. Please stop by the bookstore for additional details or contact Charlotte Lee.


College Students-Moment of Encouragement

Communications (CMT) Ministry

To our Central Pointe College Students and Parents… The Communications, Media and Technology Ministry (CMT) would like to provide our Central Pointe College Students, who are attending school away from home, with a weekly “Moment of Encouragement”. If you would like for your college student to receive an encouraging word from Pastor Dulin, or other Central Pointe Leaders, please email us the student’s name, email address and name of school to cpsound7440@gmail.com. Penny’s Childcare & Learning Center

Penny’s ChildCare & Learning Center has openings available. We offer an appropriate and balanced quality program for infants and children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. We accept CCA assistance. Our Learning Center is licensed with the State of Texas’ Department of Family and Protective services.

Monday-Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Health Services

The RedBird Health Center is Parkland’s newest primary care clinic, bringing



much-needed healthcare services to RedBird and the surrounding areas, including



Duncanville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster and Glenn Heights.

The RedBird Health Center includes adult, pediatric, geriatric and behavioral



health, lab and radiology services, among other healthcare and support services. Through our comprehensive range of services, we create a medical home – a place where you can work with your healthcare team to achieve the best health possible. Our goal is a long-term relationship with you and your family.

Our pantry is open and well stocked for anyone who is in need. If you or anyone that you know is in need of food items, please contact the office or let them know at the Welcome Center. We are available to serve.

Central Pointe Gun Policy/Handgun Laws

While the Constitutional Carry law now allows anyone 21 years and older to carry a handgun in public without a permit, it is not allowed if it is posted not to bring a firearm into a specified building. Please be aware that we are not to bring firearms into the Central Pointe worship facility. There are designated people who are allowed to bring/carry a firearm into the building.
