26th Annual R. B. Dulin Anniversary Celebration – Month of OctoberAnother year of Celebration. We’re blessed to be able to celebrate our 26th year as a congregation. The celebration will begin with our Dr. Harold L. Robinson Anniversary Musical, Saturday, October 3rd at 5:00 p.m., followed by great speakers each Sunday. Don’t forget to invite the following designated groups each week:

Theme: Pink Hearts for Courageous Souls
Date: October 17, 2026
Colors: Pink with a touch of Purple
Location: Central Pointe COC
Time: Registration at 8:00 a.m., Warm up 8:30 a.m., Prelude to walk 8:45 a.m., Walk/Run starts at 9:00 a.m.
Registration: $20 per person, $15 per person for a group of 5 or more.
This year, if you are interested in sponsoring yourself, a family member, or friend you can purchase a spot on our Fence of Honor for a cost of $15.
A registration table will be set up in the lobby for in-person registration soon. You can also scan the QR code to register or speak with a committee member for more information.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
A Message from the Central Pointe Health Ministry
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Health Ministry at Central Pointe Church of Christ encourages our entire church family to join us in raising awareness and showing our love and support for everyone affected by breast cancer.
Throughout October, we honor our survivors, encourage those currently in the fight, remember those we have lost, and pray for their families and loved ones.
The Health Ministry also encourages everyone to stay informed, know your risks, and speak with your healthcare provider about appropriate breast cancer screenings and early detection.

Pink Out Day
Sunday, October 18th, is our Annual Pink Out Day. Make plans now to wear your pink as we commemorate Cancer Awareness Month.
Generation Next
The Game of Life
Youth in 1st through 12th Grade are invited to join us for “The Game of Life” on Saturday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Pointe building for an exciting and interactive afternoon of learning and fun!
Our sessions will focus on:
· Financial Literacy for all grade levels
· College Preparation Workshop led by Dallas College for high school students
· Age-appropriate sessions for younger students
Following the sessions, we’ll have food and games for all. Dress as your favorite character for our Costume Contest!

Fall Festival
Holy-ween is getting a new look! This year, we’re moving from our traditional Sunday Holy-ween celebration to a Saturday Fall Festival to create an even greater opportunity for families throughout our community to join us!
Saturday, October 31 | 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
Enjoy bounce houses, rides, games, a game truck, music, food, Trunk or Treat & more — all FREE!
Central Pointé, we need your help! Members are asked to donate individually wrapped candy for Trunk or Treat. Those interested in decorating a trunk or volunteering during the festival can sign up in the Welcome Center.

Donate Blood, Save Lives, Give Hope
Central Pointe family, we invite you to make a difference by considering a blood donation during our Community Event on October 31st. One donation can help save multiple lives and provide much-needed support for accident victims, cancer patients, new mothers, and others in need.
A strong and diverse blood supply is especially important in our community. By giving blood, you are helping ensure that hospitals have the resources they need while providing hope to individuals and families during critical moments.

The Central Pointe Church of Christ Health Ministry
November Community Service Opportunity
Youth, join us for our Community Service Project with the To Give A Smile Foundationon Sunday, November 1, following worship service in the Celebration Hall. Together, we will assemble gift bags for children in local hospitals and create colorful “Thank You” cards to brighten their day. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. This service opportunity is open to youth in 5th through 12th grade.
Please sign up at the Welcome Center or in the bookstore. Let’s come together to be a blessing and bring a little extra joy to children who need it most this season.

If you work with youth in any capacity or are simply running on empty, we invite you to join Generation Next for our first quarterly webinar, Pause. Breathe. Reset., on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.
This powerful virtual session is designed to help you recharge your heart, mind, and spirit while providing practical tools to recognize and prevent burnout.
The discussion will be led by Kevin Grimes, Restorative Practitioner, who will share strategies for cultivating balance, renewal, and long-term wellness in ministry and everyday life.

Youth Theatre Outing
Teens are invited to attend “If Scrooge Was a Brotha” at Jubilee Theatre on Sunday, December 13.
Cost: $20 for youth and $25 for adults.

CarePortal Mission
As the needs in our community continue to grow, Central Pointe is expanding the CarePortal service team to better serve individuals and families experiencing crisis. CarePortal is a partner ministry of Central Pointe Church of Christ that functions as a community benevolence program, providing timely support such as housing assistance, clothing, and other essential needs for those facing traumatic situations.
This opportunity is ideal for those who have a heart for serving others, value teamwork, and want to make a tangible impact where needs are immediate.

Men’s Life Group
Shop Talk meets every first Saturday of the month at 6:30 a.m. in the CP Celebration Hall.
Men should always pray and not give up. Every Tuesday, the Men @ The Pointé will host a weekly prayer call, gathering together to petition God on behalf of our families, our community, and the Central Pointé congregation at large.
