Shaping the 2027 EPICS Experience at Central Pointe Church
EPICS is a life group at Central Pointe Church designed primarily for adults ages 40-64. Whether you’re single, married, retired, raising children, caring for loved ones, or navigating a new season of life, we want to hear from you.
EPICS currently represents approximately 42% of the Central Pointe Church population, making your input essential as we plan for 2027.
Your feedback will help us create meaningful fellowship opportunities, spiritual growth experiences, service projects, and special events that reflect the needs and interests of our EPICS family.

Black History Program
Generation Next is preparing for the 2027 Black History Program. We would love for ALL the YOUTH at Central Pointe to participate.
We need youth who can sing, act, step, do spoken word, or serve on our support team. Whatever your talent, we want you to participate.

Central Pointe will offer Voter Registration on Sunday, October 4. Sister Shay Cathey and Sister Ayanna Cook will share helpful, nonpartisan voter registration tips over the next few weeks to help you get prepared.

Time: Registration at 8:00 a.m., Warm up 8:30 a.m., Prelude to walk 8:45 a.m., Walk/Run starts at 9:00 a.m.
Registration: $20 per person, $15 per person for a group of 5 or more.
This year, if you are interested in sponsoring yourself, a family member, or friend you can purchase a spot on our Fence of Honor for a cost of $15.
A registration table will be set up in the lobby for in-person registration soon. You can also scan the QR code to register or speak with a committee member for more information.

Generation Next
The Game of Life
Youth in 1st through 12th Grade are invited to join us for “The Game of Life” on Saturday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Pointe building for an exciting and interactive afternoon of learning and fun!
Our sessions will focus on:
· Financial Literacy for all grade levels
· College Preparation Workshop led by Dallas College for high school students
· Age-appropriate sessions for younger students
Following the sessions, we’ll have food and games for all. Dress as your favorite character for our Costume Contest!

CarePortal Mission
As the needs in our community continue to grow, Central Pointe is expanding the CarePortal service team to better serve individuals and families experiencing crisis. CarePortal is a partner ministry of Central Pointe Church of Christ that functions as a community benevolence program, providing timely support such as housing assistance, clothing, and other essential needs for those facing traumatic situations.
This opportunity is ideal for those who have a heart for serving others, value teamwork, and want to make a tangible impact where needs are immediate.

Men’s Life Group
Shop Talk meets every first Saturday of the month at 6:30 a.m. in the CP Celebration Hall.
Men should always pray and not give up. Every Tuesday, the Men @ The Pointé will host a weekly prayer call, gathering together to petition God on behalf of our families, our community, and the Central Pointé congregation at large.

Benevolence Ministry
Our pantry is open and well stocked for anyone who is in need. If you or anyone that you know is in need of food items, please contact the office or let them know at the Welcome Center. We are available to serve.
