Peer to Peer Mixer

Peer to Peer Mixer

Are you between the ages of 45-65? Married, single, divorced or widowed? Are you looking for us? Well, we’re looking for you. There will be a Per to Peer Mixer, Saturday, November 19th, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Come and hear what we’re talking about and let us hear what you’re talking about. If you are interested in getting involved, please sign up at the Welcome Center. Refreshments will be provided.


Generation Next Activities

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever





Generation Next -“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” – Private Viewing

Generation Next will share a private viewing of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” with East Pointe Church of Christ on Saturday, November 19th, at noon at the Look Cinema in Arlington. Tickets are limited and available in the bookstore for $6.00 for youth, $8.00 for adults. Because they are limited, payment will not be accepted online without clearance of ticket availability. Any questions, please contact Charlotte Lee.


Boys2Men Training

On Saturday, November 19th, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., the Boys 2 Men Life Group will meet here at the church for order of worship training. Those who plan to attend this training, will be provided transportation to and from the theater if they also plan to attend the Black Panther movie event on that same day. Bridge Life Group

The Bridge Life Group would like to invite all Young Adults, ages 18-35, to our monthly Kickback Bible Study on Saturday, Nov. 19th, @ Noon @ CPCC in the Celebration Hall. This Bridge Kickback is special as we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Friendsgiving Event on this day. Come out & enjoy a fun afternoon of building meaningful relationships with your peers & growing in God’s Word. The event is free & bringing guests is highly encouraged. Woman-to-Woman - End of the Year Mixer

CP Ladies! We are having an End of the Year Mixer, Friday, December 16th @ 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. It has been a while since we’ve gotten together to just have fun and enjoy the fellowship. We will have food, games and activities. We will also discuss activities for the upcoming new year. So, mark your calendar and come out and join us as we gather to reacquaint and fellowship.


2022 Celebration CD’s & DVD’s

CD’s and DVD’s from the musical and all Sunday services are available for purchase in the Bookstore. Also many have asked about wanting a copy of the history of Central Ponte video that was played at the Gala. A DVD of that video can be ordered in the bookstore for $5 and you can have your own personal copy of our congregation’s history.


2022 Anniversary Souvenir Booklet

Our 22nd Anniversary Souvenir booklets are available. The cost is $10 per book.

Books will be available at the Welcome Center each Sunday following worship service. Correct change is appreciated. You may also purchase your book by check (made to) Central Pointé Church, CashApp $Centralpointe, or via the website online giving link. Be sure to note that its for the souvenir book.


Agape Bookstore

Have you stopped by the bookstore lately? Wonder why it’s always crowded? You need a snack for the ride home from church? Coffee, donuts, juice are available before Sunday school. We are having a closeout sale on t-shirts, cups, license plate holders, etc. Also, if you need a snack after worship service, stop by to purchase flavored popcorn for $3.00 or Texas Roadhouse peanuts for $5.00 which includes a coupon for a free appetizer. Proceeds benefit Generation Next.

Penny’s Childcare & Learning Center

Penny’s ChildCare & Learning Center has openings available. We offer an appropriate and balanced quality program for infants and children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. We accept CCA assistance. Our Learning Center is licensed with the State of Texas’ Department of Family and Protective services.

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Health Services

The RedBird Health Center is Parkland’s newest primary care clinic, bringing

much-needed healthcare services to RedBird and the surrounding areas, including

Duncanville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster and Glenn Heights.

The RedBird Health Center includes adult, pediatric, geriatric and behavioral

health, lab and radiology services, among other healthcare and support services. Through our comprehensive range of services, we create a medical home – a place where you can work with your healthcare team to achieve the best health possible. Our goal is a long-term relationship with you and your family.

Our pantry is open and well stocked for anyone who is in need. If you or anyone that you know is in need of food items, please contact the office or let them know at the Welcome Center. We are available to serve.

Central Pointe Gun Policy/Handgun Laws

While the Constitutional Carry law now allows anyone 21 years and older to carry a handgun in public without a permit, it is not allowed if it is posted not to bring a firearm into a specified building. Please be aware that we are not to bring firearms into the Central Pointe worship facility. There are designated people who are allowed to bring/carry a firearm into the building.
